Java Application Developer (Core Java, C++, Linux, Perl) : London (£550 Per Day)

My client is a market leading, innovative and enterprising city Hedge Fund. Renowned for their expertise in their chosen field they require a talented and technically versatile Java Application Developer to design, develop and deploy front-to-back solutions on a range of products encompassing a variety of technologies.
Essential Technical Requirements :
• Java
• C++
• Unix/Linux
• SQL
• Sybase
• Shell Scripting
• Python
• Perl

Experience within the following is desirable but not essential :
• Trade/Price capture
• Pricing, position and reference data
• Feeds workflow and trade lifecycle
• Desk reporting
• Web development experience

You will be required to work with end users to integrate solutions into existing business processes and workflows. Working within emerging markets you will utilise your Java development skills in order to create and deliver front to back office solutions in a variety of areas.
