Contract Senior Java Developer To $750 per day : New Jersey, USA

My client an industry leading financial news and data provider seeks Senior Java Application Developer to enhance their already outstanding reputation. My client regards its employees as their greatest asset and therefore seeks experienced and motivated professionals to design and build web-based multi tiered applications. You will be developing Core Java web-based multi tiered applications and tools that will be used by global data analysts to create my clients products. Significant responsibility and autonomy is offered from day one in order to allow the successful Java developer to operate to the best of their ability. Candidates must have at least 5 years experience in developing and troubleshooting high quality, distributed and scalable applications. Candidates should also be familiar with techniques for integrating existing mission critical systems. Building applications for large distributed processing systems is a must. The developer will be involved in the full system lifecycle, including system design, coding, testing and production support. Technical Requirements : Core Java, Unix/Linux, Oracle, SQL, NIO, JIT, HTTP, TCP/IP, Eclipse, CVS/WinCVS, Exposure to C / C++ programming on Unix; System Calls, memory, CPU profiling.
